Meet Your Personal Stylist, Louise Chambers

With over 15 years in the fashion and styling industry, I’ve had the pleasure of styling a wide range of clients, from individuals to media personalities and public figures, including Zara Tindall MBE and husband, Mike Tindall. My expertise spans across styling for corporate teams, fashion events, photo shoots, and retail visual merchandising.

I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and have hosted workshops nationwide for retail and corporate clients. I've also had the opportunity to serve as a guest presenter and brand ambassador for accessory brands on TVSN Australia and New Zealand.

Personal Styling 

As a personal stylist, my goal is simple: to help both women and men discover their personal style, build functional wardrobes that suit their body shape, lifestyle, and budget, and ultimately feel fabulous! My styling sessions are designed to give clients the confidence and tools to navigate the often overwhelming world of fashion choices and trends. The aim is for you to find the fun in fashion and enjoy shopping - without wasting time, money, or energy.

As a Personal Stylist, I help women and men find their personal style, build fully-functional wardrobes that work for their body shape, lifestyle and budget and, ultimately, look and feel fab! 

 

​Time and time again, I’ve seen first-hand how a well-curated wardrobe can transform a person’s self-perception and boost their confidence. It’s one of the most rewarding aspects of my work, and it’s why I absolutely love what I do.

 

Wardrobe Organisation

If a solid wardrobe-wrangling is what you need,  I also offer in-home wardrobe organisation services, where we’ll work with what you already have. Together, we’ll explore fresh outfit combinations, discuss current trends, accessorising and workshop those pieces you’ve never worn (that might even have the price tags still attached!). This process can also include suggestions for alterations to get even more wear from your wardrobe.

FAQs

Are your sessions just for the ladies?

Golly gosh no! I have many male clients who love and find value in my sessions.

 

Aren’t stylists just for celebrities or people with lots of money?

Heck no. It’s actually more affordable than many realise and it makes sense (and cents!) for money conscious types to hire one to learn the art of shopping smarter. Contemplate the money wasted on unworn and unloved clothing that you might have in your wardrobe or have shipped off to charity without seeing the light of day. The cost of hiring a stylist more than negates the cost of those over a lifetime. Stylists are for anyone wanting to find their style and become a savvier shopper. They’re good for you physically (and mentally too with the confidence you'll gain) – well worth the investment!

I don’t want to feel pressure to buy clothes or spend money in the session…

I don’t want that for you either! Unlike some stylists, I’m not paid ‘kickbacks’ when I recommend garments or when you make a purchase in my one on one or group personal styling sessions. I don't have any KPI’s to meet or management to explain to. I'm here for you and you only. If you try on a garment and it’s not a ‘hell yeah’, I’ll be discouraging you from buying it!

What if I don’t like something that you recommend?

If you try something on and you loathe it, let me know! I love, in fact, demand your honesty. It’s how you’ll get the best value out of your session. You’re doing this for you, not me! You have to love your selections, otherwise you won’t wear them and that’s a waste of hard-earned dollars. I do however ask for your open-mindedness - let's give it a red hot go before we toss it aside!

Isn’t a stylist just for "fashionistas" who loooove and live for fashion?

Nope! It’s for anyone who wants to feel more confident, enjoy fashion more than they currently do, and who want save money, time and energy when shopping for clothes (aka the smart ladies and gents).

I am worried about feeling judged for my current choices?

Nah! I’m not here for that. I’m more interested in helping you feel fab.

But I’m not a very creative or adventurous person…

You don’t need to be, my job is to help you find your individual style that tells the story about you and presents you in your best light – professional or relaxed, classic or creative, conservative or flamboyant. My job is to inspire you to help you find the fun in fashion again and to make fewer missteps. You’ll find creativity will come with that.
 

2.5 hours doesn't seem like enough time, what could I possibly achieve in that short time?

With my experience and your pre-session questionnaire we can hit the ground running to achieve your goals – anything not achieved within our time together can be covered in the post-session email. I do also offer additional time at $49 per 30 minutes over and above the package selected.

 

How will I remember everything you’ve shared with me? It seems like a lot of information to be learned in a short space of time…

Relax, I got you! I’ll share downloadable Styling Notes with you after the session.
